Greetings from Kenya!

Just a note to say we have arrived in Kenya and completed the first conference in Mombasa. The travel took about 29 hours to get to Nairobi as we had a longer than expected layover in London. We got up early Wednesday and traveled to Mombasa. We all were tired but only John had to teach o n Wednesday and I was more than willing to stay at the hotel the first night with Carol and Bobbi and get caught up on our rest. It is now Saturday and all that is left here is the Sunday services and again John is on for that as he will speak two times on Sunday. Website - Calendar - Mission Kenya

Posted By: Ann H | Oct 8, 2007 @ 4:36PM
To access day by day activities of those on the Mission Trip to Kenya go to the Calendar and click on Mission Kenya for each particular day of the trip. Times given are local and then in Eastern Time Zone. This will enable you to follow along and pray more effectively for the team and the people they will be ministering to. There will be an 8 hour time difference between Kenya and the US ET so you may wish to look at the calendar a day in advance otherwise when you get up in the morning the day will be almost over in Kenya. Any questions please ask Ann Herbert.

Church at the Plantation

Sunday October 14th there will be no service at Cornerstone in Jacksonville but it will take place at the Sweet Water Plantation as part of the Base Camp activities. Service begins at 11am. Members are encouraged to come and to stay for lunch. Don will be cooking some of his excellent BBQ smoked brisket amongst other delectable items. This will also be a great opportunity to come and encourage and fellowship with the young people of college age who are actively seeking the Kingdom to come.
