Esther - Part 12

Part 12 - Esther series
By: John Herbert | Oct 19, 2008
Esther 7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided.

We have seen how Haman, the enemy of all the Jews, had risen to a position of power second only to the king. And how having set his hand against the Jews, his complete overthrow was almost instantaneous. What we see here in Esther in the type, will be fulfilled in the antitype, with regards to Antichrist, in exactly the same fashion.

Message Notes

1). Es 9:23 So the Jews accepted the custom which they had begun, as Mordecai had written to them, 24 because Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had plotted against the Jews to annihilate them, and had cast Pur (that is, the lot), to consume them and destroy them; 25 but when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letter that this wicked plot which Haman had devised against the Jews should return on his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.
a). We had seen in our study last week how Haman was humiliated, overthrown and finally executed within a very brief period of time.
b). How he had gone from the height of his power to utter destruction in less than a day.
c). We had seen that his downfall was because of his attempt to annihilate the Jews, which brought into effect that which God had said in Genesis 12:3, and that which He had promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
d). And we saw that even though there was an issue concerning worship, the real issue for Haman was Mordecai?s position, ?seated in the king?s gate? portending a future position of regality within the kingdom.
e). That which awaited Mordecai in the future had from the beginning been decreed by God and would of itself necessitate Haman?s replacement.
f). Haman in his attempt to change that which God had set in place for His people Israel, had in reality also attempted to exalt his throne above the throne of God. Something of itself that could not go unpunished.

2). And as we look at these events in relation to Haman we will realize that what we are seeing in the type presented to us in Esther, will be fulfilled in the antitype after exactly the same fashion, for exactly the same reasons, with respect to Antichrist.
a). If we want to know about the rise and fall of the ?man of sin? we just need to read Esther, because not only is this a book of history it is also a book of prophecy.
b). In fact the same can be said for all the historical account from Genesis thru Esther ? all are books of prophecy. Scriptural prophecy is not reserved for the books of the prophets alone but pervades all of scripture - Re 19:10b?.Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

3). And central to the prophetic content of scripture are two inextricable things ? regality with respect to the earth ? and the house of Israel.
a). If nothing else, and hopefully there is a lot more, our study of Esther should make very clear for us the central role of Israel in God?s dealings with the earth. Israel is at the center of all and to miss this or neglect this would be a serious error.
b). De 7:6 "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
c). Let?s please note that any attempt to diminish Israel?s role or remove Israel from God?s plan, such as is prevalent in the church through what is called replacement theology ? in other words, the church has replaced Israel, is no less than anti-Semitism, with Christians who do so in effect exalting themselves above the clearly stated, often repeated, unequivocal Word of God. Aligning themselves with ?the enemy of all the Jews? as they also seek to change ?times and law?, albeit in ignorance, but without excuse.
d). Another lie that would be promulgated along with this is that God will deal differently with Christians than with Jews ? in following this deception people forget that we, Christians, are only a part of God?s plans and purposes because of our positional standing in Christ, it is not because of our own merit - Ga 3:29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
e). If God would punish the people He had chosen for Himself, who are ?a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth? for unfaithfulness and disobedience, why would anyone think it would be different for us?
f). Scripture is pretty clear - Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,
3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation,
g). Ro 11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in." 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
h). This is not ambiguous.

4). So then, what we see in microcosm in Esther Chapters 6-7 are the concluding moments of 6000 years of human history, with particular reference to the last 2600 years ? the period of time known as ?the times of the Gentiles? - Lu 21:24 "And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
a). God has then set in place ?the times of the Gentiles?, a time, which according to our scripture will be brought to completion. Consequently, this is a time that has a specific beginning and a specific ending and exists for a specific purpose.
b). In one respect the times of the Gentiles should not have existed as Israel, once removed from Egypt, was set within the theocracy, to be at the head of the nations. However, because of generations of unfaithfulness and disobedience the theocracy was removed and instead of Israel ruling over the Gentile nations the scepter was given to the Gentile nations themselves. A situation that exists to this present day.
c). It is absolute foolishness to think that any present nation or political system will change our world for the better ? only one nation has ever had that potential and that potential will not be realized until the times of the Gentiles comes to an end and Christ establishes His Millennial Kingdom. The Word of God is what the Word of God is, and no one ? as we have already seen with Haman ? can change that.

5). The times of the Gentiles began around 605BC although the stage was set some one hundred or so years earlier than this when God allowed the Assyrians to take the northern 10 tribes of Israel into captivity in 722BC.
a). Assyria was at that time the Gentile world power of the day, but was eventually conquered by the Babylonians, Medes and Scythians in 612BC. Nineveh, Assyria?s capital was completely destroyed at this time.
b). Following this the Babylonian kingdom is seen rising to prominence from amongst all others becoming the Gentile world power of that day.
c). Nebuchadnezzar succeeded his father Nebopolassar in 605BC. And he not only brought about the beginning of the times of the Gentiles by taking the southern 2 tribes of Judah into captivity shortly after he came to the throne, but he also brought the kingdom of Babylon to its exalted height among the Gentile nations - Da 4:30 The king spoke, saying, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?"
d). And so then, within the pages of history, we can see that it is near the beginning of Nebuchadnezzar?s reign in Babylon that the scepter of rulership passed from the hands of Israel into the hands of the Gentiles.
e). Establishing the unchangeable connection between God, His people, the Gentiles and Babylon. A connection that is foreshadowed even earlier by Nimrod in ? Ge 10:8 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD." 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh,

6). And it is in the connection between this first king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, and his son Belshazzar that we have pictured for us Satan and his son, Antichrist.
a). Da 5:18 "O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor. 19 "And because of the majesty that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whomever he wished, he executed; whomever he wished, he kept alive; whomever he wished, he set up; and whomever he wished, he put down. 20 "But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. 21 "Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses. 22 "But you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, although you knew all this. 23 "And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified. 24 "Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written. 25 "And this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. 26 "This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; 27 "TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; 28 "PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians." 29 Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. 30 ? That very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain.
b). Let us note some things here ? we see that Nebuchadnezzar lifted up his heart and his spirit was hardened with pride and because of this ?he was deposed from his kingly throne? and his glory was taken from him. Yet despite this he remained the king. Just as Satan has been disqualified as the earth?s ruler, but continues to rule.
c). Belshazzar, Nebuchadnezzar?s son did not humble his heart although he knew all this. And he, like his father, lifted himself up, ?against the Lord of heaven?. Just as Antichrist seeks to change times and law.
d). And in consequence of this God had numbered his kingdom and finished it, and I wonder if the word ?mene? is written twice in the inscription pointing to both realms of the kingdom, heavenly and earthly, in the antitype - and then Belshazzar himself had been weighed in the balances and was found wanting ? just as the kingdom of Antichrist, in respect of the heavens and the earth, will have a beginning and an end, and Antichrist himself will be judged for his actions.
e). His kingdom was to be taken from him and divided ? just as the Kingdom will divided amongst the descendants of Abraham - Ge 22:17 "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
i). And of course divided in another sense at the mid-point of the Tribulation when Satan and his angels are cast out of the heavenlies to the earth, bringing an end to their reign from that location - Lu 10:18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
f). Then note that at the conclusion of this pronouncement that Daniel, a Jew, is elevated to a position of rulership within the kingdom, being clothed in purple and having a gold chain placed around his neck ? this is Mordecai at the end of Esther - Es 8:2 So the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai; and Esther appointed Mordecai over the house of Haman.
i/ And it is Israel at the end of the Tribulation ?
ii/ And takes us all the way back to Joseph in Egypt - Ge 41:42 Then
Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph's hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.
g). Here then, within a few short verses in Daniel Chapter 5 we have the complete panorama of God?s plans for regality with respect to the earth laid out for us, from Satan?s creation as the messianic angel to the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom.

7). Then keeping in mind what we have just read with regards to Nebuchadnezzar and Belshazzar let?s remember what scripture says regarding Satan, and as we do so just look for how one gives us commentary on the other ? Isa 14:9 "Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations. 10 They all shall speak and say to you: 'Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us? 11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.'12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'
a). Although there is no direct mention of Antichrist in this scripture we can know that his agenda and purpose is that of Satan, making the two inseparable. In consequence our scripture would form a dual type for both Satan and Antichrist. And remember that Antichrist is Satan?s seed - Ge 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
b). In fact the scripture that follows on from Isaiah 14:14 makes this connection even more sure and contains in it direct echoes of the Assyrian Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar and Haman all of whom point to ?the man of sin? ? Isa 14:15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 "Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house of his prisoners?' 18 "All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; 19 But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot. 20 You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named. 21 Prepare slaughter for his children Because of the iniquity of their fathers, Lest they rise up and possess the land, And fill the face of the world with cities." 22 "For I will rise up against them," says the LORD of hosts, "And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity," says the LORD. 23 "I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, And marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," says the LORD of hosts. 24 ? The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand: 25 That I will break the Assyrian in My land, And on My mountains tread him underfoot. Then his yoke shall be removed from them, And his burden removed from their shoulders. 26 This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth, And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. 27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?"
c). And all of this we must view within the context that, ?the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men and appoints over it whomever He chooses?.

8). And what is inescapable for us in all of this once again, is the Babylonian connection with regards to God, Israel, the kingdom of Antichrist and the conclusion of Man?s day. With regards to the earth, regality and the restoration of Israel, Babylon must be front and center.
a). The captivity that led to the removal of the theocratic kingdom began with Babylon, the persecution of the Jews for the purpose of repentance has its origins in Babylon, the scepter of rulership was given to the Gentiles in the person of the first king of the Babylonian world-wide kingdom ? Nebuchadnezzar
c). And this being the case, no matter what Gentile nations rise and fall in the interim, it must be Babylon, in the person of the last king of Babylon, Antichrist, who will relinquish that same scepter at the end of Man?s day.
d). And needless to say this is exactly what we see in scripture.

9). We can see this in Daniel?s image in - Da 2:28 "But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these: 29 "As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be. 30 "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart. 31 ? "You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. 32 "This image's head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 "its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 "You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
a). The head of fine gold is Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, the chest and arms of silver are the Medo-Persian kings who also ruled from the geographical borders of the Babylonian empire ? The belly and thighs of bronze are Alexander the Great and the 4 generals who followed him as the Greeks ruled from the same geographical location ? and from here, with God?s dealings with Israel still center stage, excluding the time of the present dispensation we go straight to the 4th and final form of the Babylonian kingdom, the legs of iron and feet partly of iron and partly of clay, and the last king of Babylon, Antichrist and his 10 nation confederacy.
b). Exactly the same picture is presented in - Da 8:1 ? In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me-to me, Daniel-after the one that appeared to me the first time. 2 I saw in the vision, and it so happened while I was looking, that I was in Shushan, the citadel, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai. 3 Then I lifted my eyes and saw, and there, standing beside the river, was a ram which had two horns, and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward, so that no animal could withstand him; nor was there any that could deliver from his hand, but he did according to his will and became great. 5 And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 6 Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. 7 And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand. 8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land. 10 And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. 11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. 12 Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.
c). Here we see a ram with 2 horns ? the ram is the world-wide Babylonian kingdom now ruled by the 2 horns, the Medes and the Persians, with one horn, the Persians being the dominant force.
d). The male goat that comes from the west with a notable horn between its eyes is the Grecian empire under Alexander the great who conquers the Babylonian kingdom ruled by the Medes and Persians.
e). The notable horn is broken, Alexander the Great dies, and the kingdom is divided between his 4 generals, the 4 notable horns.
f). And again we go from here, with God?s dealings with Israel still center stage, without any reference to the present dispensation, to the little horn which grew exceedingly great ? the 4th form of the kingdom under Antichrist.
g). And his coming ?out of one of them?, v9, denotes the geographical location from which Antichrist will come. From out of one of the 4 sections of the Babylonian kingdom, which also encompassed the old Assyrian empire, divided amongst Alexander?s generals.
h). And what is described here in v10-12 we have seen many other places already ? and in it we can see both Antichrist and Satan.
i). And then go back and look at Daniel Chapter 7 and the whole matter is presented in its entirety - Da 7:3 "And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4 "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it. 5 "And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: 'Arise, devour much flesh!' 6 "After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it. 7 "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 "I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. 9 ? "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; 10 A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened. 11 "I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 "As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 "I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.
j). The lion here is the Babylonian kingdom, the bear is the Medo-Persians, raised up on one side to show the dominance of Persia in this alliance ? the leopard would be the Greeks under Alexander the Great, and the 4 wings on its back with the four heads are the 4 generals amongst whom the kingdom was divided ? and from here, as before, we go straight to the 4th beast, dreadful and terrible with huge iron teeth ? Antichrist and the final form of the world-wide Babylonian kingdom. And with just as much certainty as we have seen elsewhere today, this kingdom is numbered and Antichrist found wanting ? In this Day Christ, a Jew by birth, will have the preeminence.
k). And then again in Revelation - Re 13:1 ? Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
l). And here in Revelation, for anyone with an ear to hear, we have the beast coming out of the sea with 7 heads and 10 crowned horns [diadema] ? the sea typifying the Gentile nations ? and he according to the description of the beast was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion ? in other words he is the embodiment, in its final form, of all that seen in Daniel Chapter 7. He encompasses the whole gambit of Gentile world domination all the way back to Nebuchadnezzar.
m). In him the times of the Gentiles, epitomized in the Babylonian kingdom, is approaching its zenith ? just moments before its total overthrow and total destruction.
n). Es 7:8b?.As the word left the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

Dan2: 35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Dan 7: 10 A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him.

Isa 14:22 "For I will rise up against them," says the LORD of hosts, "And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity," says the LORD.

Eze 28:18 "You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.
19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever."'"

Ex 14:28 Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.

Ps 2:1 ? Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us." 4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion."

Isa 24:19 The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again 21 It shall come to pass in that day That the LORD will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth.

Es 7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided.

2Th 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

Re 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
